Why you don’t need to clean/tidy up when you sell your house to Zippy

It’s perfectly normal to want to tidy up before someone comes into your home. Zippy Home Buyer is a professional house buying service. A lot of sellers want to spruce up their house before inviting us over to buy it. If a seller were to list their house through a real estate agent, cleaning up is a very effective strategy to sell the house on the open market. If you have the money, time, energy, and resources to update and then clean the house, that’s what you should do to get the very top dollar for your house. If not, there are other ways to sell your house.

One of the benefits to selling your house to Zippy Home Buyer is that you don’t need to clean it! We’re used to seeing houses in all sorts of conditions. From vacant or abandoned to well lived and full of possessions. When we look at a house to buy, we look for the major systems of a house, not the aesthetic appearance like an occupant-buyer would. We’re paying attention to the foundation, roof, HVAC, water heater, plumbing, and electrical systems. We could care less if your possessions are around or even if there’s a dirty bathroom.

The reason the toys lying around, dirty dishes in the sink, or toothpaste on the counter doesn’t make a difference is we have vision and can see the beautiful potential a house has. So those things won’t affect the offered price and we’re very relaxed and non-judgmental about how others live. Most of the time, updates are needed in a house that has been lived in anyways, so the work we do will make a mess that will need to be cleaned anyways.

Below are some photos of the houses we see. Compare it to yours and you’re sure to be at ease!
